Looking back...
I eventually followed my own advice.
More on this at a later date.

TLC's: Sorority Girls
I’m shocked, I’m appalled, I’m upset. I love TLC, don’t get me wrong, but I might have to take a break from Say Yes to the Dress and Extreme Couponing for a while.
TLC’s new show, Sorority Girls, is a terrible and inaccurate portrayal of Greek life that should not be aired to the public.
In this show, 5 women from across the country have chosen to start their own...

It's that time of year again...
When Superbowl Sunday is just days away, and all I can anticipate are the commercials.
Who’s playing?
(Just kidding. But really.)
The Roller Coaster
I’m on a roller coaster. I’m about to write about something very personal. This is something I never, ever do. I vowed to myself that I would keep personal experiences and topics off of social media and blogs, but I’ve found in the past that sometimes writing it out can be somewhat therapeutic. Call me crazy. Feel free to bypass this post on your Dashboard.

2011 was...
The year I celebrated New Year’s with old friends.
A year of opportunities.
The year with the delayed Spring semester.
The year the girls went to Fripp.
The year the princess got her prince and the bad guy was killed, all within the same weekend. And I aced my Media/Law Ethics exam the next day. Might as well put that weekend in a Disney movie.
A year of struggles and mistakes I can...

ShortFormBlog: More on "The Muppets" and the evil... →
I will admit it. I saw “The Muppets.” And I laughed. And I enjoyed it.
I can guarantee you, there is no subliminal message in this movie—at all. It has a plot that could have been written by my 10-year-old sister.
shortformblog:
puddinheadwilson says: The question is, why did they choose an “oil baron” as the evil protagonist? Why not … oh let’s say “power-hungry politician”?...

BLOGGING via TYPEWRITER.: Thankful. →
inothernews:
Thankful for family and friends, on Tumblr and IRL.
Thankful we live in a country where, for the most part, democracy reigns.
Thankful we live in a country that can acknowledge the darkest parts of its history, even on a day that tends to whitewash that past.
Thankful we live in a country…
Sometimes it takes reflecting on what you have to realize just how thankful you...

Facebook: My fiend.
What…what is this?
I might as well have signed up for SchuelerVZ again back in 2008 (the German version of Facebook, or what it used to be, but in pink and in German).
Never mind the fact that I hated Facebook before these changes, especially since they practically forced me to be on Chat all the time (sometimes, you go to Facebook to stalk, not be social, let’s be real). Although...
